Summer Update

This summer has been unusually busy! I haven't had a chance to blog since vacation! Today however, Grandma and Grandpa came and got Gabi for the day and I have the house to myself! It has been awesome! I've been scrapping all day and decided to take a quick break and check my email and catch up on my blog! Well, since we returned from vacation we've had lots of company! An old college friend came for the first weekend of June. Although we have met for shopping trips a few times throughout the year we haven't had alot of time to just hang out so it was fun! She's a scrapper too so we did a little scrapping of course! Then the following week my brother called and was on vacation. He decided to come up for a few days with Landon and they stayed at our house as well! It was such a nice visit! We stopped by Dad's and cleaned up Stephen's old room and found a bunch of old games we had as kids. Gabi and I have been playing battleship and yahtzee. There were several old games I had forgotton about too like Mille Bornes and Parchesi! So we are now stocked on games for some summer fun! We grilled and relaxed that evening with a movie. Gabi has also started swimming lessons and is participating in a summer reading program on Thursdays at our local library! We have been busy! It doesn't look like it is going to slow down any either! Gabi and I are headed to Kansas City on Thursday for the weekend. We are looking forward to visiting with Sally, Sean, and the kids and do some shopping! I haven't seen my new niece in a while either and I'm sure she has grown! Well, just wanted to update you all on my summer and let you know I'm still here! I know I've said this before but I am going to get back to blogging regularly! Check in tomorrow! I plan on sharing some fun summer projects with you each Wednesday!
