Welcome

Welcome to my new blog home! Can you believe I have been blogging since December of 2005? I am sad to lose my former blog with all of its photos and memories but I have printed them and decided I needed a fresh start. So here I am! Well, I can not believe that it is May 1! As of today there are officially only three weeks left in the school year. I am looking forward to the summer. Of course, I always look forward to the beginning of summer and have lofty goals of what I'd like to get done around the house. However, when August rolls around I always find myself shaking my head, wondering where the summer went and disappointed in how little I actually accomplished! I feel like this summer will be different though. I am going in with a plan of attack and hope to be more organized. I have already started my to-do list which includes painting the bathrooms, painting Gabi's room, cleaning out my closet, and having a garage sale to clean up the basement. We are skipping our usual vacation to the beach this year too and hoping to finally start on that deck! Gabi will keep us busy again this summer with t-ball and swimming lessons and she is just as excited as I am to spend afternoons together outside in her little swimming pool. Now that she's a little older we may just have to invest in a family pass to the pool! Only 3 more weeks!
